July 25, 2024
Children's parties, who hasn't grown up with them? It is the highlight of the year for every child, so of course it should be an unforgettable party. To inspire you for birthday parties, we have collected a wide selection of themes and ideas for you. So after reading this blog, you will know exactly what is popular and which products should not be missed in your assortment.
Be a star
What could be more fun than dancing, playbacking and stepping into the role of a celebrity? So recording a lip-dub or music video is a really great activity and perfect for all ages. A chest full of fancy dress gear with glasses, tutus, shirts, diadems, hats or even think complete costumes, is therefore a real must-have. For teenagers, wigs are also a great addition to the outfit.
Believe in magic
Girls especially get all excited when the party has a magical theme, think unicorns, fairy tales, princesses and mermaids. The birthday girl will be put in the spotlight with a completely decorated room and a beautiful dress. But the friends can't be left behind either, so matching accessories such as a cute diadem or wings and make-up will complete the party. This is guaranteed to be a success.
Go fast
For tough speed demons, a car race party is a great idea. A cake is eaten at a set table in racing style, the room is decorated with matching decorations and the birthday boy or girl gets an awesome racing suit. And how cool is it to then all go to the go-kart track or bumper cars and race like cool car drivers?
Sweet like sugar
You can't make true sweet tooth happier than with a table full of delicious cupcakes, cakes and biscuits? So how cool is it to dive into the kitchen during the party to bake them all yourself? In style, of course, with real chef's hats and aprons, so they feel like true chefs. And when they are ready, they can go crazy decorating: mess around with icing, fondant and sprinkles and, as icing on the cake, a cheerful decoration kit. Add lemonade or tea and the high-tea is ready.
The game is on
Gaming is something that most young people really enjoy doing. Depending on the game, it is of course very cool to decorate the room in style or hand out some nice accessories. For example, is it a combat game? Then think tough camouflage nets for decoration and army caps and face paint as accessories to hand out. Prefer a ‘real’ fight in an arena? Then a game of laser tag is great.
Go on adventure
Little adventurers will be very happy with a cool treasure hunt through the forest or a park. The pirate theme lends itself perfectly to this, as it allows them to search for the hidden treasure chest. With cool hats, swords and eye patches, they can immerse themselves in their role as a tough pirate. Have they found the treasure chest? It turns out to be full of tasty treats, so it's time for a cosy pirate-style picnic.
Sleepover party
A sleepover party is also awesome and can be set up in many ways. Think of a disco party or bad taste party with music, disco balls and funny outfits (a silent disco is of course also an option). Not so much into dancing? Then a VIP movie night is also great fun. Roll out the red carpet, put up decorations and have some tasty snacks. Or how about a game night? Think of a sword fight with inflatable swords, ‘thruth or dare’ with funny questions and assignments or blindfolded hitting a pinata with delicious sweets and fun toys as the prize.
With the inspiring ideas above, every children's party will be a great success. Whether the child chooses a magical princess party, an exciting scavenger hunt or an adventurous racing experience, everyone will enjoy from start to finish!
